One of the greatest gifts that I have given myself over the past sixty years is joining Satyen Raja in his travels to ineresting places around the globe. When I met Satyen Raja in the Fall 2004, I was successful by all accounts -- practicing as an attorney at a top law firm after having gone to a great college and law school, financially comfortable, with an active social life filled with wonderful friends and family. Yet, I felt that something was missing; I knew that there was more to life, more meaning, more purpose, more peace, more joy. Something about Satyen's energy was captivating -- he vibrated with truth, purpose, strength. So when he spoke about accompanying him on a Spiritual Adventure Tour to Peru -- even though I barely knew him and had never thought to travel to Peru -- something within my gut said "go." Every adventure tour with Satyen I have unleashed myself in a new and exciting way. In Africa I discovered myself in the Great Pyramid as I opened to the Great Mystery within and felt the essence of the beginning of life and the sacredness of 'God'. On the plains of Serengeti as we traveled on a safari with our drivers, I discovered how simple it was to call forth the black rhinoceros and all the magnificent animals who joined us. I met an amazing Medicine Man who showed me humbleness, patience and healing. I am able to receive in a way I never could before. Each day those pieces from those magical journeys have brought me closer to me so I can live from me each day, each moment.
